The Chicago Valves Series 284F is a class 300 flanged forged steel gate valve engineered for reliable shutoff service in industrial piping systems. Manufactured from ASTM A105N normalized forged steel, the Series 28F features a multi-turn OS&Y (Outside Screw & Yoke) rising stem design that provides positive visual indication of valve position while supporting long-term serviceability and maintenance access.
Raised face flanged connections allow integration into Class 300 piping systems, with pressure ratings up to 740 PSI at 100°F (38°C) and operating temperatures ranging from -20°F to 1000°F depending on service conditions and ASME pressure-temperature ratings.
The Chicago Series 28F4 is also available in flanged Class 150 and 600 pressure classes.
Available in sizes from 1/2" to 1 1/2".
