      The Ghibson 550P Wafer Style Butterfly Valve features PTFE FDA approved Epoxy coated ductile iron (EN-GJS 400-15), Stainless Steel disc, PTFE seat -70°F to +392°F, Floating dual shaft disc design, 250 PSI rating (2" to 8") 150 PSI (10"-12"). Also features no pins in disc prevent potential leak points.

      Available in sizes from 2" to 12".

      • The Ghibson 550P Wafer Style Butterfly Valve Stainless Steel disc PTFE seat, manually operated valve Full Port features:

        • Epoxy coated ductile iron (EN-GJS 400-15) Wafer body.
        • ISO 5211 direct mounting pad/square stem.
        • PTFE seat -70°F to +392°F
        • API 609 face to face flange
        • No pins in disc prevent potential leak points.  
        • A key feature of the Ghibson 550P is its floating dual-shaft disc design. This design, along with the absence of pins in the disc, prevents potential leak points that are common in other valve designs. The lack of a pin means the disc is not penetrated, which enhances the sealing integrity and reduces the risk of media-related corrosion or contamination.
        • Pressure rating 250 psi: 2”- 8” and 150 psi: 10”-12”
        • MSS SP 67 compliant
        • The disc is made of stainless steel and is coated with FDA-approved PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene). This coating provides superior corrosion and chemical resistance, and the FDA approval makes it suitable for applications where the fluid comes into contact with the disc, such as in food and beverage processing
        • FDA approved PTFE coating
        • Stainless steel body available on request.
