      The Bonomi SRN500S package includes the Ghibson N500S Wafer Butterfly Valve NSF/ANSI 61/372 Certified for drinking water with EPDM seats, valve body is Epoxy Coated, cast Iron body (EN-GJS 400 15). Stainless steel disc CF8M, the series offer an ISO 5211 stem design and ISO 5211/DIN 3337 direct mounting for high cycle automation capabilities.

      The package also includes the Valbia 82 Series Pneumatic Spring Return (SR) actuator with Viton seals 0°-90° rotation with Hard anodized Extruded Aluminum Body.

      Available in sizes from 1 1/2" to 20".

        Valve

        The Ghibson series N500S Wafer body Butterfly valve, ACF8M SS disc, NSF Certified for EPDM seats, features:

        • Manually operated Wafer butterfly valves
        • Epoxy coated ductile iron (EN-GJS 400-15) Wafer body
        • N500S - sizes 1-1/2” to 24”.
        • ISO 5211 direct mounting pad/square stem.
        • Food grade EPDM resilient seat -30°F to +266°F.
        • API 609 face to face flange
        • Floating dual shaft disc design
        • Pressure rating: Pressure rating: 250 psi: 1 1/2”-20” and 150 psi: 24”.

        Actuator

        The Package actuator contains the Valbia 82 series SR (Spring Return)

        Valbia manufactures rack and pinion pneumatic actuators, available in spring return or double acting version, with 0°-90° standard rotation or 0°-180°, and are standardly furnished with VITON seals. Valbia offers a product with a unique patented design, which is able to guarantee high quality standard, performance and reliability.Valbia actuators are versatile and suitable to different applications and operating conditions.
        Valbia pneumatic actuators are available in three versions:

        • The 82 series aluminum with 0°-90° rotation
        • The 83 series aluminum with 0°-180° rotation
        • The 84 series stainless steel with 0°-90° rotation

        The 82 series, with an extruded and hard anodized aluminum body, is manufactured in 15 models to guarantee a wide range of choice according to the requested torque; it allows a 0°-90° rotation and is available in the spring return (SR) or double acting (DA) versions.

        Actuator Sizing For Pneumatic Spring Return

        The output torque of a spring return actuator is not consistent but decreasing. This is due to the action of the springs. When compressed by the air pushing out the pistons, they accumulate energy which will be available in a decreasing way during the clockwise rotation inversion. Please consult the information below for torque calculation.
