The Chicago Valves Series HP79 is a high-pressure API 608 three-piece, 2-way full port ball valve designed for demanding industrial applications. Manufactured from rugged WCB ASTM A216 carbon steel, it features an elevated mounting pad for in-line stem packing adjustment without removing the actuator or handle. Available with DELRIN or PEEK seats and Threaded by SW (Socket Weld) connection.
The HP79 valve features a blowout-proof stem, reinforced stem packing, investment cast body construction, and an ISO direct mounting pad for actuator automation. An ISO direct mounting pad allows simple integration with actuators, making the HP79 an excellent solution for automated process control systems.
The HP79 delivers dependable quarter-turn shutoff with pressure ratings up to 3200 PSI and temperatures from -50°F to 600°F (-46° to 316° C)
