The Chicago Valves Series 284 is a forged steel A105 Class 800 multi-turn gate valve SW ends, engineered for high-pressure isolation service in steam, oil, gas, and industrial process systems.
Designed with an OS&Y rising stem configuration, the valve provides positive visual indication of valve position while allowing external stem thread isolation from process media. Forged body construction delivers superior mechanical strength, pressure containment, and thermal reliability compared to cast alternatives, making the Series 28 well suited for severe service and cyclic operating conditions.
The Series 28 valve is also available with FNPT end connections. Manufactured in accordance with API 602, ASME B16.34, and API 598 standards for critical industrial applications.
Rated to approximately 1975 PSI at 100°F (38°C) and temperatures up to 850°F. Also available in 316L Stainless Steel.
Available in sizes from 1/4" to 2".
