The Chicago Valves Series 216 is a heavy-duty Class 150 gate valve designed for reliable flow isolation in demanding industrial applications. Constructed from CF8M/316 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature capability, and dependable shutoff performance. Available with Class 150 BW (butt weld) or Class 150 Flange connections
Designed for high-pressure and high-temperature service, the Series 216 complies with API 603 and ASME standards, with seat and shell testing to API 598. The valve features an OS&Y rising stem design for visual position indication and easier maintenance, along with a durable bolted bonnet construction.
Rated to approximately 285 PSI at 100°F and temperatures up to 1000°F. Also available in Class 300 or Class 300 BW with pressure ratings up to 720 PSI.
Available in sizes from 1/2" to 12".
