The Bonomi EAX120 (M) series is part of the EAX(M) series spring return explosion-proof fail-safe electric actuator for quarter turn valves are available in four different sizes, torque strength from 445 in. lbs. to 2300 in. lbs. NEMA 4x, 7, 8 & 9 (CSA Approved), 2 limit switches for operation, fail clockwise spring and on/off control standard. The EAX120 has a maximum torque of 1150.
When the power signal is lost, a mechanical spring set kicks in to position the controlled quarter turn valve to either the open or closed position. A mechanical buffer is also used at the end of the spring stroke to reduce the dynamic effects of the spring return system. The EAXM series are designed as flame-proof and combustible dust-proof, and are standardly furnished with an ISO 5211 mounting pad, square female drive shafts, and are available in multiple voltages, and positioning models.
