The Jomar P-501G Lead Free Bronze horizontal swing Check Valve, one-piece body design, and press connection. It’s designed for lead-free brass applications (i.e., wetted surfaces contain <0.25% lead content) for potable/residential and commercial use. The Lead Free valve with heavy pattern cast brass construction, EPDM o-ring seal and metal-to-metal disc seal.
Dezincification Resistant Bronze preventing the valve's material from degrading in certain water conditions, thereby ensuring a long service life, 200 psi for WOG.
Available in sizes 1/2" to 2".

Additional Notes
- Install 5 pipe diameters minimum downstream from pump discharge or changes in direction to avoid flow turbulence. Flow straighteners may be required in extreme cases.
- Note: On pump discharge, the preferred check valves are: inline, spring assisted, center-guided, lift checks.
- Jomar Check Valves may be installed in both horizontal and vertical lines with upward flow or in an intermediate position. They will operate satisfactory in a declining plane (no more than 15°).
- Warning: Do Not Use For Reciprocating Air Compressor Service.
