The Chicago Valves Series P486 is a Class 800 piston check valve engineered to prevent reverse flow in high-pressure industrial systems. Featuring a bolted bonnet for dependable pressure containment, it provides automatic backflow prevention for steam, oil, gas, and chemical applications.
Manufactured to API 602 and tested to API 598 standards, it is rated for pressures up to 1,975 PSI at 100°F and temperatures up to 850°F.
FNPT threaded ends conform to ASME B1.20.1 for secure installation.
Available in 316L stainless steel or optional Forged Steel ASTM A105N, the P484 is designed for maximum durability in severe-service process lines.

The Chicago Valves Series P484 is a high-performance, Class 800 316L Stainless steel piston check valve designed for critical non-return flow control in high-pressure industrial environments. Engineered for durability and safety, the P484 features a robust bolted bonnet design, ensuring dependable pressure containment and long-term service life in steam, oil, gas, and process applications.
This series is a "standards-first" solution, manufactured in strict accordance with API 602 and tested to API 598 requirements. Its forged Stainless steel body provides superior structural integrity, enhanced corrosion resistance in aggressive chemical or coastal environments making it the preferred choice for high-temperature and high-pressure piping systems where cast valves may fail.
