The Chicago Valves Series P484 is a Class 800 piston check valve engineered to prevent reverse flow in high-pressure industrial systems. Featuring a bolted bonnet for dependable pressure containment, it provides automatic backflow prevention for steam, oil, gas, and chemical applications.
Manufactured to API 602 and tested to API 598 standards, it is rated for pressures up to 1,975 PSI at 100°F and temperatures up to 850°F.
This model features Socket Weld (SW) ends conforming to ASME B16.11, providing a permanent, leak-proof connection for critical piping. NACE MR0175 compliance ensures suitability for sour service environments.
Available in Forged Steel ASTM A105N or optional 316L stainless steel, the P484 is designed for maximum durability in severe-service process lines.
